有關eNom Club Drop?

請問用過eNom Club Drop的板友，每月$99可以得到什麼？可以抓25個名字？如果抓到需要另付註冊費嗎？是否過了30天就失效？

頂好的名字大概是別想啦，除非運氣特好。
搶到名字註冊費會另扣，$99純是搶網名的月費。一天可以放25個名字上去搶。
不過如果你搜集到的過期網名夠多的話，從中挑出一些三個字母的.com或.net，天天上去搶，一個月下來也能有不錯的收獲。至少dnforum上有人就是如此做的。

eNom也搶得到三字母的.com嗎？真令人難以置信！ :shock:

我準下午5點查deletedNames剛剛更新的on-hold域名，可是三字母的snap（SnapNames）每次都老早就有人捷足先登了，Godaddy Backorder也只剩下較差的.net而已（不過反正GoDaddy也搶不到），三字母的過期域名是眾老手的焦點，同一個名字在eNom必定也是人人都想要，如何輪得到呢？如果多於一人登記，那麼如果註到會分給誰？ ~rusure

這說來有一點複雜。
在enom負責抓網名的那個人在domainstate.com (http://www.domainstate.com/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=7541&perpage=15&highlight=club%20drop&pagenumber=1)上有稍微提到他們的分配原則如下：If you put in 25 names, and Club Drop gets all 25, you will naturally get any of them such that you were the only member who requested that name. In the case of names where more than one member requested the name, a queue is created whereby one member is chosen (at random, I believe) from all members in that queue. That chosen member is then put at the "bottom" of the queue until all other members in the queue receive a contested name they've selected.

If you chose 2 names, and they were both acquired and contested, you would have no way of knowing which one is decided first. If you didn't much care for the first name, and really wanted the second, then if you got the first, odds are you wouldn't get the second, as you would have been placed at the bottom of the queue after the first.

So if you only pick one name, you're going to assure that you're in the first queue pick - but it's still a random draw amongst other members who chose that name.

Now, with all that said, I'm more than willing to hear any ideas on how names might be more fairly distributed, if you have any. It's not my decision, but I can make recommendations.

Personally, I've been thinking about auction models, and I'm intrigued by the model that pool.com proposes.

I'd be interested in your thoughts.


簡單來說，如果你真有某個名字十分想要的話，最好當天只填上那一個。一旦enom真的拿到那個名字，就算有其他人也填上這個名字，但如果他們還填了別的名字的話，分給你的機會會比他們多。同理，如果你也填有其他名字的話，而剛好別的名字你又有拿到的話，那這個名字很可能就優先分配給其他沒有拿到別的名字的人了。

這個分配法滿聰明的，如果每天都只填一個三字母.COM，一個月下來不知道能不能抓到一個？

现在参与SNAP的注册商太多了，ENOM的成功率明显降低了

根據我本身的經驗，最近幾週NW成功率有明顯的進步，POOL比一個月前退步不少，GoDaddy幾週前表現不錯，近幾天又退下來了，此外，很多人反映SN近兩個月幾乎什麼也抓不到，大概遲早會退出市場吧。我判斷近期內應該是NW與POOL平分秋色的局面，當然，BD還是老大。

我已經接到NetworkSolutions的通知，WLS每個域名每年$39，不能轉換，如果域名持有人續註了，$39也就泡湯了。

我目前snap的六個域名在networksolutions的預註系統中全部顯示不可申請的狀態,
這是不是代表我snap應該更換而且以後不要再盯networdsolutions快過期的域名了? ~what

SNAP轉WLS的方式尚未明朗，兩者價格不同，我猜要等到SNAP停止接受新order之後才會有轉換的辦法出來吧，目前兩者互不相干。
