日本人寧可用日文的英文拼音為主要品牌，被日本人買下的 buy.com 將導向Rakuten .com ， 二月以後buy.com變成轉址到 Rakuten.com之用而已。但buy.com是英文購物網站，老外記得住Rakuten嗎？
那個自稱 domainking的傢伙說：
This one is absolutely off the charts! DUMB beyond DUMB!
I already forgot it and can’t spell it.
這是笨蛋中的笨蛋的作法，他已忘了這個名字甚至不會拼它。
其他人也都在笑罵：
the guys in charge of Rakuten’s Marketing are making the dumbest mistake in their lifes. next they will let the domain expire.
負責行銷的傢伙做出一生中最蠢的錯誤，下一步他們會讓buy.com過期掉出來。
不過這似乎也引發了另一個討論，所謂的brandable domain是否已有取代或者並駕齊驅於 general domain呢？竟然有大企業捨buy.com這種一等一的general domain不用而專用自己拼音的域名？其實books.com和bn.com也都導向到品牌 barnesandnoble.com 去。當然也可如此說，這些general domain最終都會落入這些大品牌的企業之手吧。
