W8/W9 Forms
Included with the July checks were W9 and W8 forms that DomainSponsor has to collect from each publisher in order to ensure proper compliance with IRS requirements.
The letter accompanying the forms mentioned a possible 31% withholding. Please note, this will only apply if forms are not returned. As long as we receive the forms, you will NOT be subject to any withholding by Oversee.NET.
By filling out this form, it does not necessarily mean that this information will be sent to the IRS for taxation purposes. This form will only be kept on file by our accounting deparment as required by the law. The IRS requires that we have this form for every entity to which we make a payment.
